With over a decade of experience performing live music in the Toledo, OH area, Asteria Music has your entertainment needs covered for your special event! Asteria Music can provide the live music you've imagined for your special event, such as wedding ceremonies, receptions, cocktail hours, as well as parties, corporate events, private functions, funerals, memorial services, and any other events. Asteria Music will work with you to create the live music for your event that you've always imagined.

 

We perform multiple styles of live music that cater to your event such as classical music, jazz, rock, pop, etc. Sample musical ensembles include: string quartet, jazz combo, etc. However, we are not limited to those options so please let us know if you have something else in mind! For a list of our most current available repertoire, please click here. If you would like us to perform a song that is not included, there may be an arranging fee per song.

 

Important Requirement: We cannot perform in direct sun, rain, or high winds. We play extremely valuable instruments and the elements can damage them irreversibly in a matter of minutes. It is understood that performers must be provided with shelter from rain and direct sunlight and that the temperature must be between 60-90 degrees Fahrenheit.​​

 

String Ensemble Wedding Information: 

• 20-30 minutes of prelude music as your guests arrive

• Music needed for entire wedding ceremony (seating of mothers, processional of bridal party and bride, candle lighting ceremony, etc.)

• 10-15 minutes of postlude music as your guests leave

• This fee includes ceremonies that last no more than 90 minutes of total time (time may be less depending on length of ceremony)

• This fee does not include rehearsals for the ceremony, though rehearsals can be added

• String musicians require one armless chair per musician

• Pricing starts at $600 for string quartet, but smaller groups are available for a lower cost

Jazz Combo Cocktail Hour Information:

• Drums, guitar/keyboard, bass musicians performing 60 minutes of jazz standards

• Needs access to power outlet(s)

• Pricing starts at $500 for jazz combo during cocktail hour​

Other Info: 

• Get $100 off when you book both a string quartet and a jazz combo for your event

• Method of Payment: We accept cash, checks (returned checks are subject to a fee), and Venmo. Gratuity is always welcome and greatly appreciated

• Travel: Please keep in mind that there may be additional travel charges if your event is more than 15 miles away from Toledo

• Attire: Musicians will dress in all black attire unless otherwise specified

• Cancellation Policy: In the unfortunate event that a booking must be cancelled by you, we will refund any payments including the deposit amount up to 90 days prior to the date of the event. After that point, the deposit amount is not refundable. If a contracted musician is ill or otherwise cannot play, we will employ a highly competent substitute from our preferred roster
